MR. CHRISTOPHER TO is an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong. Professor To holds qualifications in computing, engineering and law.

He is a recognised authority on alternative dispute resolution techniques and has over twenty years of extensive experience in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution including adjudication and mediation. He is a chartered Arbitrator and an accredited Mediator of a number of leading ADR bodies.

Professor To currently teaches at leading Universities on the subjects of Alternative Dispute Resolution, International Construction Law, International Arbitration, Commercial Contracts and Mediation.

He is the Executive Director of Construction Industry Council of Hong Kong. He has served as Secretary-General of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Secretary-General of Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC), Secretary of Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group (APRAG), Chairman of the Membership Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, Committee Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (East Asia Branch) etc.

Professor To has written extensively on the subject and is the author of the leading textbook on arbitration in Hong Kong “Butterworths Hong Kong Arbitration Law Handbook”.
