MR. GEOFF SHARP is one of New Zealand’s busiest commercial mediators being voted inaugural Mediator of the Year at the 2012/13 NZ Law Awards.

He has been a full-time mediator for over a decade and has mediated hundreds of disputes in that time. Geoff is selected by Who’s Who Legal as one of its Global Top 10 Commercial Mediators in both 2014 and 2015.

He is a Vice-Chair of the Independent Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute in The Hague currently setting global mediator credentialing standards. He is an IMI Certified Mediator and is honoured to be a past LEADR fellow and the first Australasian to be elected a distinguished fellow of the International Academy of Mediators.

Geoff is admitted to the New Zealand Courts, the Supreme Court of Victoria, High Court of Australia and the Australian Federal Court, as well as being accredited under the Australian National Mediator Standards. Geoff is in the Panel of International Mediators with the Singapore International Mediation Centre, Singapore Dispute Resolution and Compensation Panel, Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation, CEDR’s International Mediator Network and the Florence International Mediation Chamber.
